The University of Glamorgan is committed to supporting research of the highest quality. In an increasingly competitive environment we need to maximise our performance in research and to do this effectively we must up our game. The mock Research Excellence Framework (REF) exercise has highlighted research strengths but also areas where we need to be more focussed in our approach hence the decision to establish Research Institutes as a mechanism for furthering the research agenda.

Call for Proposals

Students, academics, artists and designers will gather on 18 and 19 November 2011 at the Royal College of Art for the inaugural student-led research conference to discover the pioneering work taking place across a multitude of disciplines within art and design. The two day conference will explore innovative areas in both Fine Art and Design research through a variety of modes of presentation.
